World Champions 2006

Licelott Maldonado is 19 years old. She was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and began dancing at the young age of 11 years old. Her training includes ballet, jazz, modern dance, and salsa. She is currently a member of “Sabor Latino Dance Co, and has traveled the world performing at several world class events including the San Francisco Salsa Congress, Puerto Rico Salsa Congress, Miami salsa Congress, Italy Salsa Congress, New York Salsa Congress, and Las Vegas World Salsa Competition where she recently came in 1st place in the Cabaret Category. She is a well respected dance instructor, chorographer, and professional dancer.

Kelvin J. Hernández is 21 years old. He was born and raised in Venezuela, but currently resides in Puerto Rico. He is a former member of Imagen Latina from Venezuela, and has traveled the world performing at several major salsa congresses around the world. He is also a highly regarded dance instructor, choreographer, and professional dancer.

Licelott and Kelvin have been dancing together for 2 years. In this short time, they have established themselves as one of the premier salsa dance couples in the world. Their championship filled resume includes the following competitions:
